Is There a Google University That Teaches How to Write Top Ranked MSP Blogs?
Search Engines Are Prolific
MSP blogs don’t come with a manual. Unless you go with a professional agency, you’ve got to learn things the hard way through trial and error. Google actually doesn’t want you to know how to get top-ranked. You’ll find no classes which will help you write top content on Google University. If there were such classes, Google would have to change their algorithms. It would basically be like giving savvy marketers and MSP businesses a hack to search engines.
The vast majority of people use search engines–specifically Google–in order to accomplish online aims. As a matter of fact, some 92% of adults in the US will make use of search engine tech in order to expedite online usage.
In the US alone, there are over 300 million people. If Google University offered an SEO class, no one would be able to find anything because everyone would get themselves top-ranked. So if you’re going to figure this out on your own, you’ll have to:
• Use trial and error tactics
• Get burned
• Make mistakes
• Waste money
• Waste time
Obviously, these things aren’t desirable. But you can curtail error by following Google press releases and webmaster best practices. Additionally, you can look at successful MSP blogs to get an idea of what they do that works and what they do that doesn’t.
The Powers of Deduction
There are some other tips you can bring to the fore. For example, you want to structure content in a way that is useful to those in your target market. Look at the primacy of your customers, take stock of that which they regularly purchase, and write articles designed to meet future clients who may require the same kinds of services. Content should include back-links. Pictures can also be helpful. But one of the most effective ways of expanding your content’s efficacy involves guest blogging.
Guest blogging gets your content on a blog which has already become well-established and has a built-in readership. This means you automatically get your voice in front of thousands— perhaps millions— of sympathetic ears. Think of the right guest blog as a microphone connected to a sound system.
Fulfill Your Crowd’s Expectations
Certainly, you can get in front of the teeming masses and yell for all you’re worth. If you’ve got enough diaphragm control, you may even be able to turn a substantial number of heads. But when the crowd is large enough, as is the case with the tech community, you’ll hardly make a dent without a sound system. Now, if you continue to shout your blog’s wisdom to the masses, you may acquire sympathetic ears that eventually give you the megaphone you’re looking for. But this will be much easier if you start out with an established guest blog platform.
That said, you can’t just yell gibberish from a guest blog platform— that’s bad for you and the guest blogger. You must have compelling content that’s worth the time of your potential clients.
