You Must Implement Original MSP Blogs on Your Website!
The Importance of Blogging
MSP blogs can be integral in marketing, but understanding why requires some study. “Blog” is derived from “weblog,” and is quickly replacing conventional magazines. Certainly, you’ll see many magazines in most convenience stores, but when is the last time you bought one? Usually, if you still have magazines of preference, they’re going to be types which have a specific quality to them, like Popular Mechanics or Popular Science. Magazines with a steady, loyal readership are more likely to remain relevant. If there isn’t such readership involved, it’s difficult to get one started.
Magazines aren’t old hat yet, but the function they served in society before the Internet is being quickly replaced by blogs.
Blogs: Integral to Marketing
This is also why MSP blogs are an increasingly integral component to online marketing. You definitely need a blog, and one which regularly produces new, actionable content designed to drive traffic to your homepage. Having one will substantively increase your SERP (Search Engine Results Page) rankings. The better the rankings, the greater the impact, the more potential leads are impacted, and the more sales you can close facilitating ROI.
How Most Blogs Work
Many blogs get started in pertinence to a relevant issue which contains a built-in audience. As such blog’s audience grows, varying advertisers begin to put clickable advertisements on the webpage featuring the blog. Advertisement begins to fund the blog, just like it funds magazines and newspapers.
As a blog grows, there becomes a need for that blog to continuously produce actionable, audience-spreading content. But at a certain point, this can’t be done by a single individual, and it becomes in the blog’s best interests to branch out, using other writers to produce content. This is where “guest blogging” comes in.
Popular blogs will often accept entries from businesses like MSPs, as their offerings in some degree pertain to the overall success of the blog. Effectively, by advertising your business through blog posts on a guest blog site, you increase their traffic, meaning you get to advertise without having to pay for the privilege— in some cases, of course. It all depends on the individual blog. But this has the added effect of sending more traffic to your website, as you get the built-in audience of the established blog on your side. It’s an upward spiral for everybody.
The Importance of Originality
Here’s the caveat: content produced for a given blog must be original. You can’t spin content through some AI spinning program— that’ll get noticed by search engine algorithms eventually. You can’t source your blogs through some syndicated agency, as they’ll be used by other MSPs, and so when a search is conducted, they’re more likely to lead back to the syndicated agency than your own site— even if you optimize them for keywords after the fact. Search engine algorithms are designed to do that.
Finding the Right Blog-Producing Agency
One of the most effective solutions is finding a content agency that offers top-tier MSP blogs that:
• are original
• don’t represent spun or syndicated content
• have vetted marketing strategy behind them
